As a central division of the University within the Global Relations portfolio, Melbourne International plays a key role in supporting the internationalisation of the University of Melbourne. It aims to secure the University's position as a leading international research and teaching institution through the development of strategic and productive international partnerships, through the promotion and support of student mobility programs and through positioning the University as a destination of choice for talented international students from diverse regional and cultural backgrounds.
