About us
International Market Development is responsible for the overall marketing of the University's academic programs overseas. It plays a key role in:
- Relationship management of key client groups including overseas representatives, staff in offshore University of Melbourne offices, external institutional feeders, parents, and marketing staff in the Schools Partnership Program;
- Market research and development including statistical analysis, evaluation of new market potential, developing new markets and strategies to implementation phase;
- Development of international promotional materials in both electronic and hard copy. This includes the international prospectuses, electronic newsletters to key client groups such as the overseas representatives, key sponsors and scholarship benefactors, school counsellors and students offered a place at the University;
- Coordination of international recruitment activities.
In conjunction with the International Relations Unit, International Market Development organises major events off shore, bringing together partner universities, alumni and parents of international students.
